Recently, Trina Solar released a series of testing results on the mechanical reliability of the 670W Vertex module. Covering six tests, including static mechanical load test and five rigorous tests including non-uniform snow-load test, extreme low-temperature mechanical Load test, hail test, extreme DML test and extreme wind tunnel test, the serial testing results achieved an across-the-board verification of the excellent mechanical load reliability of the 670W Vertex modules.

TrinaTracker has globally published a white paper “Strategies to mitigate wind related risks in trackers compatible with ultra-high-power modules” after launching the webinar “Ensuring the tracker stability in extreme weather conditions” in partnership with PV Magazine. TrinaTracker ratified the stability of its Agile 1P and Vanguard 2P in extreme weather conditions by performing wind tunnel tests in collaboration with the leading wind engineering consultancy firms CPP and RWDI.

Trina Solar recently conducted stringent dynamic mechanical load testing (DML) of its 210 Vertex 670W module, comparing with competitor’s single-glass 540W and dual-glass 535W modules in extreme environments based on the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standards. The testing demonstrated that the 210 Vertex 670W module delivered better performance than the 540W/535W modules in terms of DML reliability.
